\n\tKaren O<\/a> was forced to cancel her appearance at Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s Daisy Chain Fields<\/a> festival on Saturday due to a \u201cfamily emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer was billed as a \u201cspecial guest\u201d for the inaugural Irvine, California fest; Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan, the other special guests on the lineup, ultimately joined Rodrigo onstage during her headlining set<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tHowever, an unannounced Alanis Morissette instead performed \u201cIronic\u201d alongside Rodrigo during the set, with Karen O missing the gig entirely. On Sunday morning, she took to social media to explain her absence.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI was unable to perform at Daisy Chain due to a family emergency,\u201d Karen O wrote. \u201cVery sad to miss such a herstoric music event, but I\u2019m where I\u2019m most needed, with family back east.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe singer continued, \u201cSo much gratitude to Olivia for her advocacy for women, by women, who totally rock.\u201d<\/p>\n
