\n\tAriana Grande<\/a> will take the stage in London tonight in comfortable footwear rather than her signature heels after sustaining a minor injury.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star shared the update with fans on social media ahead of her Eternal Sunshine<\/em> tour\u2019s final two shows at O2 Arena (Aug. 31 and Sept. 1). \u201cMy sweet petals,\u201d Grande began in her note posted to Instagram Stories. \u201cI wanted to let you know I will need to be in cozy footwear for this evening\u2019s show (and possibly tomorrow\u2019s) as I am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande assured fans that it wasn\u2019t a sprain or a muscular injury, but a \u201cdeep cut.\u201d The singer-songwriter asked fans not to \u201cfret\u201d when they see her without her usual heels or if they she puts weight on her injured foot during the performance. She added, \u201con with the show and i am on the mend!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star said that she \u201ccannot wait\u201d to perform the next two shows, quipping that she might be \u201ca few inches shorter than usual.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the conclusion of her tour, Grande plans to \u201cstep back\u201d\u00a0<\/a>from public life. The singer-actress will no longer appear in a London West End revival of Stephen Sondheim\u2019s\u00a0Sunday in the Park With George<\/em>, which would have reunited Grande with her\u00a0Wicked<\/em>\u00a0co-star Jonathan Bailey; it was also revealed that Grande\u00a0would not be appearing in the upcoming season of\u00a0American Horror Story<\/em><\/a>\u00a0as previously announced, which was due to conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine <\/em>tour and the show\u2019s production schedule.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Grande announced plans to scale back her public engagements, rumors about her well-being swirled. The artist spoke to fans directly to address the speculation <\/a>earlier this month during her stop\u00a0at the United Center in Chicago. \u201cI heard that my fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me, but I just have to say that could not be more the far opposite. This is not what that is,\u201d she told the crowd. \u201cAnd I just want to be very, very clear, multiple things can be true at the same time: boundaries need to be set, human beings can need a break sometimes and also, this can be and will continue to be the greatest experience of my professional and creative life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
