After a five-year break from studio releases, Andy Stott<\/a> has returned to his toolbox for a new album. Late Loop<\/em>, a press release notes, is the product of fewer tools than usual: The British producer made the record using no basslines, no reverb, and no effects but a delay unit. The follow-up to Never the Right Time<\/em><\/a> arrives October 30, via Modern Love<\/a>.
