\n\tKaty Perry<\/a> reflected on her public breakup<\/a> from Orlando Bloom<\/a> and growing relationship with Justin Trudeau<\/a> in a new interview. The singer told People<\/em><\/a> that she credits her Lifetimes Tour<\/a> for connecting her to the former Canadian prime minister. <\/p>\n

\n\tPerry explained that \u201clast year was really hard,\u201d however the tour gave her the opportunity to find a new sense of self. \u201cI learned how to step back into my purpose,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I got the greatest gift from this tour: I got to meet the love of my life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tShe added of the tour, which kicked off in April 2025, \u201cA lot of people said I couldn\u2019t do it and gave me a lot of flak \u2014 and I did it. Some people are like, \u2018Cringe, cringe, cringe.\u2019 But I\u2019m living my fucking life to the fullest!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Lifetimes Tour was a few months underway when Perry and Bloom, her fianc\u00e9 at the time, announced their split<\/a>. Perry recalled being in Australia when the news came out last July. \u201cIt was probably the hardest time,\u201d she said. \u201cMy friends were all hanging out back home. I was crying and just feeling far away. But then my angels went to work. They really showed up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPerry and Trudeau were first spotted together later that month. \u201cI got to meet Justin on tour, and then things shifted,\u201d she told People<\/em>. She said she made a list of things she wanted to manifest, including \u201ctrue love.\u201d \u201cI think that\u2019s where we\u2019re at,\u201d she said, adding that she believes things happen for a reason. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wouldn\u2019t have stayed in something for nine years if there wasn\u2019t really important things to learn,\u201d she said. \u201cEach relationship is a teacher, right? I had to let it go so I could move forward. I always wanted this epic\u00a0legendary love, and I was talking to my therapist about it: Everything in my life is epic, but this is kind of the missing puzzle piece \u2014 then it showed up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe added of Trudeau, who has come to several of her concerts, \u201cHe knows the words, he\u2019s supportive, and he\u2019s in awe. It\u2019s super healing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPerry\u2019s new concert film, The Lifetimes Tour \u2013 Live from Paris<\/em>,\u00a0arrived in cinemas<\/a> yesterday. Directed by Paul Dugdale, the film is comprised of Perry\u2019s Lifetimes Tour at the Accor Arena in Paris, where she hit the stage on Nov. 4 and 5, 2025. The 25-song set was captured with 60 cameras, as the pop star flew around on a butterfly and sang classics like \u201cCalifornia Gurls\u201d and \u201cFirework.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Lifetimes Tour spanned 91 dates, 23 countries, and five continents, and marked Perry\u2019s first official run in seven years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
