Taylor Swift<\/a> has earned a major seal of approval for her Toy Story 5<\/em> song \u2014 from the man who created some of the franchise’s most beloved music.<\/p>\n

Swift recently revealed that Randy Newman<\/strong> has heard \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d the original song she wrote for the film.<\/p>\n

And fortunately for Swift, the \u201cYou’ve Got a Friend in Me\u201d songwriter liked what he heard.<\/p>\n

Swift discussed the song during an iHeartCountry House Party<\/em><\/a> on BOB 94.9 FM in Harrisburg, Pa., Saturday (Sept. 5).<\/p>\n

While discussing her contribution to Toy Story 5<\/em><\/strong>, Swift praised the musical world<\/a> Newman created for the beloved franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has a sonic world that Randy Newman has crafted so beautifully,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Newman has heard Swift’s new song \u2014 and gave it his approval<\/a>. \u201cHe told me he likes it, which is really all I need to know,\u201d Swift said.<\/p>\n

Swift also reflected on what she’s learned from years of studio sessions, writing and collaborating with other artists, emphasizing how much a person’s attitude can affect the creative process.<\/p>\n

One thing I\u2019ve learned over the many years of studio sessions and writing sessions and working with people collaboratively is your energy and attitude you bring into the room can affect absolutely everything about the day. If you come in and act like you don\u2019t want to be there, everyone else is gonna pick up on that.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Her advice is simple: Embrace the opportunity to create<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
