Taylor Momsen and Pearl Jam&#8217;s Mike McCready join reunited band for &#8220;Outshined&#8221; and a rare &#8220;Spoonman&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n\t\t<!-- do not apply CSS styles to this element! --><\/p>\n<div class=\"pmc-paywall\">\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe surviving members of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/soundgarden\/\" id=\"auto-tag_soundgarden\" data-tag=\"soundgarden\">Soundgarden<\/a> reunited Wednesday to perform during halftime of the Seattle Seahawks\u2019 2026 season-opening <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/nfl\/\" id=\"auto-tag_nfl\" data-tag=\"nfl\">NFL<\/a> game at Lumen Field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tGuitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Ben Shepherd, and drummer Matt Cameron were joined by the Pretty Reckless\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/taylor-momsen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_taylor-momsen\" data-tag=\"taylor-momsen\">Taylor Momsen<\/a> \u2014 who served as Soundgarden\u2019s opening act during that band\u2019s final tour with Chris Cornell \u2014 as well as fellow Seattle native, grunge associate, and Cameron\u2019s former Pearl Jam bandmate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/mike-mccready\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mike-mccready\" data-tag=\"mike-mccready\">Mike McCready<\/a>, who served as second guitarist.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<p>\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
