One fan thought the announcement of the compilation seemed like a marketing ploy to test the waters for a potential reunion, and if that\u2019s the case, the demand is clearly there.<\/p>\n\n\tThe group formed in 1994 and released its seven-times platinum debut, Spice<\/em>, two years later. It was a worldwide smash thanks to \u201cWannabe,\u201d \u201cSay You\u2019ll Be There,\u201d and \u201c2 Become 1\u201d \u2014 all songs their fans won\u2019t be hearing performed live anytime soon. Their next album, Spiceworld<\/em>, came out in 1997, and was nearly as big thanks to \u201cSpice Up Your Life\u201d and \u201cToo Much,\u201d the latter of which is apparently too much for the women to agree to perform live anytime soon. \n\tThe fivesome have reunited a few times since their 2000 breakup. Their most recent reunion tour ended in 2019 and it did not include Victoria \u201cPosh Spice\u201d Beckham. The last time the original five toured together was the Return of the Spice Girls Tour, which concluded in 2008.<\/p>\n
\n\tAs the Spice Girls\u2019 newly announced compilation, The Singles Collection<\/em>, suggests, though, if and when they do decide to tour, they have plenty of material fans want to hear. The collection, out Nov. 6, includes 14 records and CDs, including each single\u2019s original artwork and B side.
