\n\tAlison Krauss<\/a> and Union Station announced that the upcoming dates of their Arcadia<\/a><\/em> tour\u00a0have been canceled after Krauss was advised to take a vocal rest.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news was shared on Krauss\u2019 social media. \u201cIt is with great regret that Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced the cancellation of our upcoming tour dates,\u201d read the post. \u201cAfter consulting with medical professionals, Alison has been advised to take a period of vocal rest to ensure a full and healthy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe statement added that the \u201cdecision was not made lightly as we are deeply committed to our fans. However, prioritizing health and vocal integrity is imperative at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe affected shows include a stop in Davenport, Iowa, which was scheduled for Friday, along with dates in St. Louis, Austin, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. The nixed concerts also include a three-night run at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.<\/p>\n

Billed as a collection of songs that are \u201ccontemporary reflections on history,\u201d the LP includes tracks written by several writers, including JD McPherson and Sarah Siskind, and marks Krauss\u2019 first album with Union Station, the band she joined as a teenager, since\u00a0Paper Airplane<\/em>\u00a0back in 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
