Everyone\u2019s favorite polka-dotted microtonal duo Angine de Poitrine<\/a> stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon<\/em> on Monday night to make their U.S. television debut. (True devotees know they first graced the small screen on Later\u2026With Jools Holland<\/em><\/a> in June.) The Canadian math-punkers marked the occasion with a brand new song, \u201cZugzek.\u201d Although Fallon struggled to pronounce the title, guitarist-bassist Khn and drummer Klek had no trouble ripping through the five-minute track. Watch their performance below.<\/p>\n

A self-described \u201cMantra-Rock Dada Pythagorean-Cubist Orchestra,\u201d Angine de Poitrine shared their latest album, Vol. II<\/em><\/a>, in April. They also played Newport Jazz Festival<\/a> this summer, and recently brought a two-night run to New York\u2019s Le Poisson Rouge.<\/p>\n
