Nearly a year after her debut mixtape, Time Flies<\/em><\/a>, Dexter in the Newsagent<\/a> is back. \u201cFantasy,\u201d the singer-songwriter and producer\u2019s first song of 2026, follows a tail of promotion behind the album including European festival dates and a video<\/a> for \u201cStranger to Love.\u201d Join the south Londoner in a neon phone box in the new song\u2019s Iris Luz-directed video below.<\/p>\n Dexter said in a press release, \u201cI wrote this song earlier this year when I lost a bunch of money and was feeling quite lost. I was watching random car drive-through videos of rich areas on youtube and I wanted to write a song about money from the perspective we all have when you\u2019re a kid and you just wonder what it\u2019s like to have a big fancy car, walk in wardrobe or a chef. That\u2019s where the song came from and I love everything about how fancy and dreamy it feels, it\u2019s like my own fantasy world where I am a millionaire.\u201d<\/p>\n
