\n\tKEY ARTISTS:<\/strong> Diles Que No Me Maten (above), Los Blenders, Unperro Andaluz<\/p>\n

\n\tTHE SOUND:<\/strong> Rawk! Psych-rock, garage rock, post-punk \u2014 these bands can do it all.<\/p>\n

\n\tTHE BACKSTORY:<\/strong> Following in the footsteps of rock en espa\u00f1ol forefathers like Caf\u00e9 Tacvba and Caifanes, these bands represent a new generation.<\/p>\n

\n\tTHE BACKSTORY:<\/strong> Many of the bands are associated with the Hallogallo scene, which shares its name with a zine made by Lifeguard\u2019s Kai Slater.<\/p>\n

\n\tPROMISING SIGNS: <\/strong>While many of these bands started in their teens, they\u2019re getting even better as they hit their twenties.<\/p>\n

THE BACKSTORY: <\/strong>Katoman, a local radio DJ, bar owner, and artist manager in Tokyo, says these up-and-coming acts are the ones to watch.<\/p>\n

PROMISING SIGNS: <\/strong>While East Asia is known for producing pop superstars, these bands show rock lives there too.<\/p>\n
