\n\tTori Amos<\/a> has announced she will be releasing her second children\u2019s book.<\/p>\n

\n\tA Sorta Fairytale<\/em> serves as a prequel to her children\u2019s book debut and New York Times<\/em> Bestseller Tori and the Muses<\/em>. The upcoming book explores a \u201cnew adventure\u201d centered around saving the town of Rose Dover and features previous characters Tori, the Muses, and Tori\u2019s animal friends in the Emerald Forest who appeared in the first book. The story traverses the \u201cmagic of working together\u201d and seeks to inspire readers to embrace creativity and collaboration.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe book features illustrations from Demelsa Haughton, who also illustrated Tori and the Muses <\/em>and is known for her retelling of six Hans Christian Anderson fairy tales, among her many other works.<\/p>\n

And working with Demelsa Haughton again, watching her bring\u00a0this world to life through her exquisite illustrations, was endlessly inspiring.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPer a synopsis of the book, Tori seeks to save Rose Dover from the evil spell of a character called Mr. Bad Man. She enlists her Friends of the Emerald Forest as well as the Muses. Through magic and teamwork, they build a special pink piano that breaks the spell.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to her children\u2019s book work, Amos is an accomplished author of other tomes, including 2020\u2019s Resistance: A Songwriter\u2019s Story of Hope, Change, and Courage<\/em>, and 2005\u2019s Piece by Piece<\/em>. Her 18th studio album, In Times of Dragons<\/a><\/em>, arrived in May.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
