\n\tLady A<\/a>\u2019s Charles Kelley<\/a> says he has been diagnosed with blood cancer. The singer shared the news via an Instagram post on the page of his wife, Cassie Kelley, explaining that he\u2019d seen a doctor for rib fractures, which prompted a series of blood tests that discovered a rare cancer called multiple myeloma.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019m young, I feel healthy and the treatments, I will say, have just come so far even in the past five years, even life expectancy far exceeds what it used to be,\u201d Kelley said, who added he also has a friend navigating the same diagnosis. \u201cJust getting this off your chest is so freeing and takes the power away from it a little bit,\u201d he continued, discussing how impactful it has been for him to also share his recent sobriety journey<\/a> openly with fans. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna get through it.\u201d<\/p>\n
