Chad Lowe<\/strong> and producer Kim Painter<\/strong> are mourning the death of their daughter, Fiona<\/strong> Hepler Lowe<\/strong>, who died at 13.<\/p>\n

The family shared the heartbreaking news in a statement Tuesday (Sept. 29), remembering Fiona as a bright and loving young girl who brought joy to everyone around her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,\u201d the family told PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

The family remembered Fiona as \u201ca loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,\u201d they said. \u201cIn fact, she was the light of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family added that her death was \u201cdevastating for our entire family\u201d and asked for prayers and privacy as they grieve.<\/p>\n

Chad Lowe Celebrated Fiona’s 13th Birthday<\/h3>\n

Lowe had celebrated Fiona becoming a teenager in a loving Instagram tribute in 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cCelebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!!\u201d he captioned a photo of his daughter. \u201cKeep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiona\u2019s final years also included a devastating loss for the entire family when their Pacific Palisades home was destroyed in the 2025 wildfires.

In February, Lowe shared photos from the family\u2019s return to the remains of the home where his three daughters had grown up.<\/p>\n

Almost a month after we evacuated, our girls finally got to go back to see what\u2019s left of their home. The way they\u2019ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience. Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life\u2019s greatest joy and privilege.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The family did not share further details surrounding Fiona\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
