When those in power try to silence our calls for liberation, art will always be a form of resistance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tMacklmore thanked fans in Dublin, Paris, and London \u201cfor showing up the way you did.\u201d He added, \u201cThe response to these shows is another reminder of how many people across the world are standing together for a free Palestine. Can\u2019t wait to be together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHis Free Palestine Tour will open in Dublin on Oct. 26, followed by Paris on the 29th, and London a day later. The rapper\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dc_bH4_N1FN\/\">addressed<\/a>\u00a0the thousands in the crowd. \u201cA big part of the reason why I wanted to do this tour in the first place is so I could stand up in stadiums like this and say two words that are very near and dear to my heart: Free Palestine,\u201d Macklemore said. \u201cI want those words to be loud and clear, so that people all the way in Gaza to the occupied West Bank know that we have not forgotten about them.\u201d His speech was met with cheers from the crowd while others reportedly walked out during his performance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn a statement later shared on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdRdsy0m2HK\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\">Instagram<\/a>, Macklemore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/macklemore-statement-dropped-ed-sheeran-tour-1235626135\/\">claimed he was dropped<\/a> from the tour after Robert Kraft \u2014 the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium \u2014 mounted a pressure campaign against Sheeran.
