Kid Bookie<\/strong> releases second record Cheaper Than Therapy II<\/em> on October 9 through FLG Records.<\/span><\/p>\n Opener H.A.T.E<\/em> doesn\u2019t waste time in showing Bookie\u2019s<\/strong> insane vocal range \u2013 starting with some growls before launching into an absolutely insane rap, I swear he doesn\u2019t take a breath in it.<\/span><\/p>\n The album features a number of guest appearances include Rose McGowan<\/strong> on a song named after herself, and Taylor as mentioned earlier on BLAME.<\/span><\/p>\n The second track is BLAME<\/em> and features the first guest vocals and it\u2019s a vastly different opening to its predecessor with some lovely soothing vocals to start before some great grime-style rap lyrics for the verse.<\/span><\/p>\n The lyrics are quite open and honest, and Corey<\/strong> Taylor\u2019s<\/strong> sections are great, blending well with Bookie\u2019s<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The clean vocals in C.E.L.A.Y.N<\/em> (featuring Ziey Kizzy<\/strong>) are lovely and melodic.<\/span><\/p>\n In the run up to the release, Rose McGowan<\/em> was one of the standout singles and it still sits as one of my favourite tracks on the record. It acts as a bit of a fuck you to the people who try to bring you down. McGowan\u2019s<\/strong> solo motivational speech is absolutely fire.<\/span><\/p>\n Prettier<\/em> is such a lovely song too. It\u2019s calming with a tinge of RNB.<\/span><\/p>\n All the guests work well and are varied \u2013 with the likes of Kate Nash<\/strong> providing a stunning interlude which includes the star speaking about the industry and Shona McGarty<\/strong> also appearing.<\/span><\/p>\n Kid Bookie<\/strong> is a fantastic artist and Cheaper Than Therapy II<\/em> is one of the standout albums of 2026 purely for its variety, angst and Bookie\u2019s<\/strong> natural talent for bringing a variety of genres together to create a flawless record.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
