Power Trip<\/a>, the thrash-metal group formerly fronted by the late Riley Gale<\/a>, have cemented their return<\/a> with a new double single, their first music since Gale\u2019s death<\/a> in 2020. Listen to \u201cPrecinct 3\u201d and \u201cScavenger\u201d below, via Blue Grape<\/a>; a Power Trip album will follow next spring, according to a press release. The former track comes with a video from Eric Richter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Since reuniting<\/a> in late 2023, Power Trip have been fronted by Seth Gilmore, a longtime friend of the band and vocalist with Skourge and Fugitive. Jacob Hansen produced the new tracks. Founding guitarist Blake Ibanez, who co-produced the new music, said in the press release, \u201cWhen we were writing this, we wondered what Riley would have wanted to write about. So once we decided on that approach, it honestly came really easily\u2014the lyrics were flowing and it just felt like the right way to kick off this new chapter and honor him.
