It\u2019s a prosperous time to be a Phoebe Bridgers<\/a> fan. After four years of relative inactivity, Bridgers returned with her third album<\/a>, a tour<\/a>, and a substantial role in longtime friend Lance Oppenheim\u2019s new film Primetime<\/em><\/a>. Now, she and Oppenheim have reunited for a filmed live performance for A24\u2019s Sound Check at Cherry Lane Theater<\/em> series, which captures Bridgers playing \u201cLost Boys<\/a>\u201d and \u201cHaunted\u201d with Boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, plus Primetime<\/em> soundtrack song \u201cOn Video<\/a>\u201d with Ethan Gruska. Check it out below.<\/p>\n Bridgers and Oppenheim shot the session at the titular West Village off-Broadway theater after her three-night run at Barclays Center in September. The residency was part of her ongoing phones-free Lost Tour; she brought Dacus and Baker out on stage to play \u201cNot Strong Enough\u201d and \u201cCool About It\u201d on the first night. Bridgers\u2019 appearance on the series follows episodes with Tame Impala and Blood Orange, among others. It\u2019s not even her first short film this season: she appears in Conor Oberst\u2019s directorial debut Invitation 13<\/em>, which premiered in Los Angeles in September.<\/p>\n Once Bridgers and her opener Alex G wrap up the U.S. leg of the Lost Tour this month, she\u2019ll head to the UK and Europe for a run with support from former Black Country, New Road frontman Isaac Wood. Oppenheim, meanwhile, has another big premiere coming up: You Can See Everything<\/em>, the documentary he co-directed with Nathan Fielder that follows disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes\u2019 final days with her family before reporting to prison for fraud.
