\n\tThe Latin Recording Academy has announced that it\u2019s combining two signature events \u2014 In The Mix from the Circle of Producers and Engineers and Sebasti\u00e1n Krys\u2019 famed Los Producers gala \u2014 to create a super-evening that will honor Latin music professionals. The night will include performances and appearances from a slew of stars, including Mon Laferte<\/a>, Francisca Valenzuela<\/a>, Fonseca, Yami Safdie<\/a>, Lila Downs, Arath Herce, Kinky, Juanes, and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe event, which is sponsored by BMI, will take place Nov. 11 in Las Vegas as part of the official Latin Grammys <\/a>week schedule. It will be produced by Krys, the longtime Latin producer who has made the Los Producers gala a staple several years in a row. Like Los Producers has done in the past, the official event will benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson\u2019s Research, which is dedicated to advancing research toward a cure for Parkinson\u2019s disease. Krys was diagnosed with the condition in 2019 and has made it his mission to spread awareness. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLos Producers has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It\u2019s one of those initiatives where everyone truly wins. The Michael J. Fox Foundation has funded more than $3 billion to advance Parkinson\u2019s research and the fight against the disease, and this is our way of making a small contribution from our corner of the world,\u201d Krys said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the event, Krys will receive a special honor his contributions to Latin music. He\u2019s worked with artists such as Shakira, Elvis Costello, Juanes, Ricky Martin, La Santa Cecilia, working as both a producer and engineer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Latin Grammys<\/a> will take place on Nov. 12. This year, Edgar Barrera, Karol G, Rosal\u00eda lead the nominations. Anitta, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Jorge Drexler, Silvana Estrada, Mon Laferte, Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n, Milo J, and Rawayana are all up for Album of the Year, along with Karol and Rosal\u00eda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
