\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> performed \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d live for the first time Saturday at the star-studded Academy Museum Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tConan O\u2019Brien introduced Swift prior to her four-song set, calling her \u201cJohn, Paul, George, and Ringo all in one\u201d before she and her band launched in \u201cBlank Space.\u201d Following that, Swift told the audience that they were about to witness the debut performance of a Life of a Showgirl<\/em> track.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThis song, which we are playing for the very first time for you beautiful people, this is called \u2018The Fate of Ophelia,’\u201d Swift told the crowd.<\/p>\n \n\tSwift then performed her Toy Story 5<\/em> contribution \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You\u201d before ending her gala performance with \u201cLove Story.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cTaylor is an extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world,\u201d Academy Museum Director Amy Homma said in a statement when Swift\u2019s gala performance was announced earlier this month. \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome her to this year\u2019s gala and look forward to her performance to close a wonderful evening of honoring three extraordinary filmmakers and supporting the Academy Museum\u2019s mission to celebrate and preserve cinema.\u201d<\/p>\n
