Iron Maiden<\/a> has announced Somewhere in Time: The Graphic Album<\/em>, a collaboration with Z2 comics celebrating the 40th anniversary of the band\u2019s landmark album.<\/p>\n According to a press release announcing the project, the graphic novel anthology \u201cdives deep into the menacing Science Fiction future immortalized [in the album].\u201d Each one of the LP\u2019s eight tracks receives its own story, but the adventure doesn\u2019t stop there. Somewhere in Time: The Graphic Album<\/em> also features a prologue and epilogue focussed on Iron Maiden\u2019s famous mascot, Eddie, imagining \u201cwhat could have happened in the moments leading up to that iconic album cover that captured the imagination of generations of Maiden fans.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, it’s just a great version of Eddie, my favorite version of Eddie probably,\u201d guitarist Adrian Smith<\/a> admitted. \u201cThere’s a real power there you know, a genuine power and menace. He’s very muscular isn’t he? He looks like he\u2019s been working out.
