\n\tNick Cave<\/a> is ready to answer your questions. On an upcoming solo tour, billed as Conversations With Nick Cave, the singer-songwriter will field questions from the audience about anything and everything \u2014 a format he works well with, as his popular Red Hand Files<\/a> newsletter has shown. As with previous \u201cConversations\u201d tours, the artist will also perform songs with only his own piano accompanying him.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYears ago, in a peculiar state of mind, I travelled across the U.S., stepped onto stages in different cities, and fielded questions from the audience,\u201d Cave said in a statement. \u201cIt was a strange, almost desperate idea, but those nights became deeply healing for me. I hope the audience felt the same.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cEight years have passed,\u201d he continued. \u201cThe Red Hand Files have grown in reach and stature; the topics of conversation have broadened, and it feels like the right time to return to America, a different America from eight years ago, and bring the Conversations\u2026 show back. He also told the crowd that speaking with them helped him with his grief after the death of his son. \u201cTalking to the audience has actually been extraordinary healing for me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
