The soulful ballad reflects on early, humble holiday memories—reminiscing about a small tree beside the door and dancing in the kitchen—while firmly establishing his partner as the true anchor of the season.

The record also captures a deeply personal family milestone, featuring a sweet vocal exchange between Wilson and his 4-year-old granddaughter, Phebe Paran.

The seasonal release continues a highly successful era for the veteran artist, who has successfully transitioned his foundational R&B legacy into modern dominance. Wilson currently holds 11 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, with five of those hits secured in this decade alone.

“Christmas Is You” is available to stream and download now across all major digital platforms.

Source link

Legendary R&B vocalist and former Gap Band frontman Charlie Wilson has officially entered the holiday music landscape with the release of his brand-new single,…

[39

post-76623","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-rb","article","has-excerpt","has-avatar","has-author","has-date","has-comment-count","has-category-meta","has-read-more","thumbnail-
["GET
