Zach Bryan has announced another North American show for 2025, with the country star set to headline the first concert at the largest stadium in the United States — Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
The show will take place Sept. 27, with John Mayer, Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen, and Joshua Slone also on the bill. Tickets for the show are set to go on sale this Friday Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. local time via AXS.
“Playing in Ann Arbor with some heroes and good pals of mine!” Bryan wrote on Instagram, adding, “I love you guys so much… Thankful is an understatement.”
Michigan Stadium — nicknamed the “Big House” — primarily serves as the home of the University of Michigan football team; and while it’s hosted other sporting events before, there’s never been a concert there. U of M’s Director of Athletics, Warde Manuel, said in a statement that the school had been “studying and evaluating what it takes to host a concert at Michigan Stadium for a couple of years and today marks that next step in the venture with great partners.”
Michigan Stadium’s seated capacity of 107,601 makes it not only the largest in the United States, but the whole Western Hemisphere. It’s also the third largest stadium in the world behind Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India (132,000 cap) and Rungrado 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea (114,000 cap).
After spending much of 2024 on his Quittin’ Time Tour, Bryan only has a handful of concerts scheduled for this year, though all of them are set to be massive affairs. In April, he’ll headline Stagecoach in Indio, California, and in June he’ll play a handful of shows at Dublin’s Phoenix Park and London’s Hyde Park. After that, he’ll play three shows at MetLife Stadium outside of New York City July 18 – 20, and then on Aug. 15 he’ll play Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
Last month, Bryan also teased an upcoming film that’s set to document the recording of his “final major-label album.” The project is called Motorbreath, though Bryan has yet to share any additional details, like a potential release date.
