One Rose produced the single, which launches Ferxxo into a futuristic, electronic vibe on his next project
Ferxxo is back. On Friday, reggaeton star Feid released the infectious EDM single “Nos Desconoximos,” which he revealed will be the first track off his upcoming album, expected later this year.
“What can I tell you, love? We are so happy because the first song of the new project dropped,” Feid said on his Instagram Stories. “Ferxxo is coming with a new album… It’s a special project because after 10 years, it’ll be dropping.”
The futuristic video opens with Feid on a water ski converting into modern-looking planes. The trippy visuals show Metroid-style characters on the run in a desert, before flashing to show them in the snow. The clip splices clips of teddy bears toasting with models and zoomed-up clips of metallic scorpions and Feid showing off his muscles while in a bikini.
“We didn’t recognize each other/We looked into each other’s eyes, we kissed and we did it,” sings Feid on the One Rose-produced song in Spanish. “I don’t know if it was the molly or if it was the wine, hey/It was desire and destiny.” The song laces a clip of a voice singing in English, “First time I saw you girl I always love you more/It’s been so wonderful with you, girl, nobody can’t ignore.”
On Instagram, Feid even encouraged fans to look into the video for easter eggs and make “conspiracy theories” about what it all means for his upcoming year. He also teased that his upcoming album will drop on April 25. “Nos Desconoximos” follows his Trueno collaboration, “Cruz,” in January, and his surprise album with Sky Rompiendo, Los 9 de Ferxxo y Sky Rompiendo, which dropped in late November.
