A listing from Unbridled Eve Derby Gala mistakenly listed a “signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour” as an available auction item
The charity organization Unbridled Eve hosts an annual gala on the eve of the Kentucky Derby. The Unbridled Eve Derby Gala runs for six and a half hours and includes both an auction and a dance party, which lasts for just over three hours. The dance party run time is close to the time Taylor Swift spent on stage each night on the Eras Tour for nearly two years. And despite the organization listing “two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour” as an available auction item, the pop star doesn’t currently have plans to return to the stage next year.
“Our deepest apologies for getting the Swifties excited,” Unbridled Eve shared in a statement correcting the “inadvertently listed” auction item. “It should have said ‘Guitar signed by Taylor Swift and two tickets for a concert during her next tour.’ We have no knowledge whatsoever of when that tour will occur.”
Some Swifties were immediately skeptical of the original listing, but others latched onto any sliver of hope that the Swift drought might be over sooner than later. Earlier this month, one Swiftie account on social platform X counted the days since the musician’s most recent public appearance (56 days), Instagram post (115 days), and Eras tour show (also 115 days).
The Eras Tour concluded in December 2024 after 149 shows. Swift spent more than 520 collective hours on stage, performed nearly 50 songs, and released three albums — two re-recordings and the 31-track mega record The Tortured Poets Department. The tour earned $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.
For her final pair of surprise songs, Swift actually performed five songs: “A Place in This World,” “New Romantics,” “Long Live,” “New Year’s Day,” and “The Manuscript.” And a year before the tour was even close to being over, she released The Eras Tour concert film. The tour was grand enough to tide fans over for longer than a few months. Just keep holding on.
