Rolling Stone and PATRÓN Welcome Dasha to The Green Room

After two weekends of non-stop fun at Austin’s largest annual music festival, Dasha took The Green Room’s stage for her second performance of the festival week, this time on behalf of PATRÓN Tequila and Rolling Stone. The epic performance, which closed out the artist’s Austin run, took place on Sunday, October 13th, at the trendy South Congress Hotel.

The Green Room series gives fans an exclusive opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite artists for a once-in-a-lifetime look behind the scenes. A week prior, MisterWives rocked the stage with an unforgettable set so good that it was only right for PATRÓN Tequila and Rolling Stone to run it back for an encore, giving guests a second chance to experience a look behind the backstage curtain, this time with Dasha.

Before fans rushed into the courtyard, Dasha enjoyed all of The Green Room’s amenities, like getting her cowboy boots shined at the shoe-shining station, while enjoying a PATRÓN Ranch Water, and taking pictures in the mirror of the glam station with her custom bedazzled PATRÓN Silver Tequila bottle. “These are adorable,” Dasha exclaimed, obsessing over her new keepsake, which had her name spelled out in pink jewels.

Afterwards, she joined Rolling Stone News Supervising Producer, Delisa Shannon, for an interview where Dasha teased upcoming releases, spoke about her love for performing in front of intimate audiences, and shared how she likes to celebrate with PATRÓN Tequila—an additive-free choice that resonates with her values of transparency. For Dasha, enjoying a night out with friends and her band means savoring unforgettable moments, just like the performance she was about to deliver.

“Austin is one of my favorite places in the entire world,” Dasha admits to Rolling Stone. “The more I come here, the more I fall in love with it.” It made sense, then, that her track by the same name proved to be her career-defining hit song, peaking at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 this past June. Furthermore, she admits that this song feels “magical” to play in the city, as Austinites have welcomed the track with open-arms, adopting it as their city’s anthem.

Currently on her first headlining tour, Dashville, USA, Dasha has found herself playing in front of her biggest crowds to date, like at Austin’s biggest music festival. However, she finds herself eager to get a bit closer with fans, which she did for her Green Room performance. “I love hopping the barrier, and getting in the crowd,” Dasha said. “I get to show the audience a more intimate side, instead of them being one hundred feet behind a barricade.”

Soon after, Dasha did exactly this. “Anyone know how to line dance?” Dasha asked the buzzing crowd, jumping in to dance with fans. Excited to see the country star at eye-level, the large group danced with the singer who spun around and kicked her boots to a gorgeous arrangement of banjo, violin, acoustic guitar and pop drums.

“I want there to be a sense of community with my music,” Dasha says, remarking on the power of music and bringing people together.  “I want [my fans] to meet other people that love my music and have that as a bonding force between them.” As the afternoon reached a peak of celebration, Dasha raised her PATRÓN Silver Ranch Water in the collector’s cup, toasting the crowd to one of the festival weekend’s most unforgettable moments. Fans danced through the day, fully immersed in the unique experiences The Green Room had to offer. For those wanting their own PATRÓN collector’s cup, they’re now available on ReserveBar (MSRP $50.99)—perfect for toasting with your own Ranch Water.
