Whoa! Oreo + Reese’s Teaming Up For 2 Gut-Busting Snack Releases

Hope you’re sitting down for this news: Oreo and Reese’s are officially teaming up to release two different, gut-busting snacks that have us in a tizzy over here.

Food blogger Markie Devo broke the news on Instagram: Two of America’s favorite treat brands, Oreo and Reese’s, are tag-teaming a dual release.

The first one is Oreo Reese’s Cookies. They are filled with Reese’s signature peanut butter creme blend and Oreo cookie crumbs.

The marketing description is especially mouth-watering: “Each cookie features signature Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies filled with a Reese’s peanut buttery creme with Oreo cookie crumbs.”

Those will drop on Aug. 18.

But ask yourself: Are you going to twist off the top and lick the creme, then eat the Oreos? Or are you going to just dive right in with a big bite, like they were intended to be eaten?

The second gut-busting collaboration is coming in the form of Oreo creme-filled Reese’s Cups.

These have the signature outer chocolate Reese’s shell, but half is white chocolate and the other half is milk chocolate.

Inside the cup is Reese’s peanut butter with Oreo cookie crumbs. Per the companies: “The Reese’s Oreo Cup brings together milk chocolate and white creme peanut butter cups with Oreo cookie crumbs.”

The Reese’s Oreo Cup will also be available starting Aug. 18.

Have Oreo + Reese’s Ever Collaborated Before?

Yes, but it was brief and more than a decade ago, in 2014. Peanut Butter Cup Oreo was a promotion that was a limited edition.

How Many Different Varieties of Oreo Cookies Are There?

This is tough to answer, as there are hundreds of different Oreo flavors worldwide, and there are many limited edition ones, as well.

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact number of flavors, but just know that you will never be in a world sans Oreos.
