Lainey Wilson received a big honor while visiting Denver, Colo. on her Whirlwind World Tour.
The country singer was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Rockies game on Sunday (Aug. 17).
After being introduced by the stadium announcer, Wilson took her place at the mound. The country singer was rocking her signature bell-bottomed look with some light-washed denim.
The “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer was also given a custom Rockies jersey with her name, Lainey, written across the back. Major League Baseball shared the video online.
Really owning the role of pitcher, Wilson got into a classic pitcher’s stance, holding the ball in her glove against her chest. She then wound up, turning toward third base and kicking her left knee up before hurdling the ball toward home plate.
She proved to be a good luck charm, as the Rockies went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 that day.

He refers to himself as “Coach Duck” in the caption.
