Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley are now the proud parents of a college kid, and they’re feeling all the emotion that goes into that big life transition.
The couple’s oldest son Huck — one of two boys the country star and his wife share — has left the nest, but they’ve got a special reminder of him at home.
Williams-Paisley shared a photo of a note Huck wrote her, which is dated Sept. 22, 2014. He was just seven years old at the time.
“Com visit me in calij,” the adorably misspelled note reads. “Love Huck.”
A postscript added, “You promes.”
“I promes I promes I promes,” Williams-Paisley writes in the caption, including some emojis to show her love for her son, and the heartache she’s feeling at watching him grow up and move away.
