Snoop Dogg has revealed how he throws his support behind his wife’s newly purchased strip club.
Named The Players Club, the venue can be found in Los Angeles and is ran by Snoop’s wife, Shante Broadus.
Sitting down for a chat on the It’s Giving podcast, Snoop said that he was a big supporter of his wife’s operation.
He explained: “So what do I do? I say, ‘What the hell is you doing?! I support. I show up. I throw money in the air. You understand what I’m saying? I support you! Because she supported me when I was going through something that I wanted to get off, that I felt like, was fun and was fly.”
Snoop added: “It shocked me that she bought the muthafucka. I was like, ‘A strip club? Oh wow, honey, I’ll support it.’”
The West Coast legend is no stranger to unusual business opportunities, having recently bought a stake in Welsh soccer team, Swansea City.
In a video announcing his purchase, Snoop says: “For many years I’ve been associated with soccer. Yeah, I’ve worn a lot of kits in my life. But now I’m at the part of my life where I’m trying to find a kit that fits. The kit with the hit.
“You know what I’m talking about. One team. The underdogs. A team that feels like me, that reals like me. I’m talking about Swansea City. Yeah baby! I’m not a player, I’m a owner. Swansea City, we coming to a hood near you. Big Snoop Dogg, Swansea City, baby, let’s go!”
He added in a statement: “My love of football is well known, but it feels special to me that I make my move into club ownership with Swansea City. The story of the club and the area really struck a chord with me. This is a proud, working class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me. I’m proud to be part of Swansea City. I am going to do all I can to help the club, and I look forward to getting to know all my YJBS.”
