Hailey Whitters is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby

Hailey Whitters is expecting her first child.

The “I’m in Love” star and her husband, industry veteran Jake Gear, announced her pregnancy on social media on Sunday (Aug. 24.)

They also shared some maternity photos snapped in a corn field — fitting for the singer, whose 2025 album is called Corn Queen — and shared some details about their baby-to-be.

Whitters’ baby will be a boy, and is due in November.

“Our greatest production yet,” the duo wrote in the caption of their announcement post.

Hailey Whitters and Jake Gear’s Love Story

Whitters and Gear got married on Oct. 1, 2022 in her hometown of Shueyville, Iowa. They had been together for over 10 years.

The ceremony took place at a country church, according to People, and was followed by a reception at her father’s farm.

Corn fields and hometown scenery have played a big role throughout their love story. They posed for wedding shots in front of a corn field.

When Gear popped the question two years prior, in 2020, they also took engagement photos in a farm setting.

Gear has worked on Whitters’ music with her for several years. In 2023, she recounted him asking her, “Do you want a ring or a record?” and she chose to make the record before focusing on a proposal.

That album was The Dream and its deluxe version, Living the Dream, a 2020-2021 project that features one of her breakout songs “Ten Year Town” as well as collaborations with Jordan Davis, Trisha Yearwood and more.

2025 brought a bumper crop of babies for the country music world.

Artists who are already parents to multiple children — including Sam Hunt, Dan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney and Lady A‘s Hillary Scott — welcomed one more into their families this year.
