Cracker Barrel has been a staple in American restaurant culture for decades, but the amount of money they pull in daily is still shocking.
According to Cracker Barrel’s official financial statements, in 2024 the company’s total revenue across the board was $3,470,700,000.
That took a lot longer to compute on a calculator than we had imagined, and that number looks so intimidating on paper: In words, that’s three billion, four-hundred and seventy million, seven hundred thousand dollars.
Assuming that Cracker Barrel is open 365 days per year, that boils down to $9,508,767 per day, cumulative from all of their 657 locations.
When you think about what a staggering amount of money that is, you can see how managing the public perception of such a chain of restaurants can be very tricky, as we have seen as of late.
Cracker Barrel has been in the news for changing and modernizing their restaurant interiors, and most recently, their logo, which has brought on controversy they likely didn’t anticipate.
