Halsey Announces ‘Back to Badlands’ North American Club Tour

Halsey will celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut album on the road this fall on her just-announced Back to Badlands Tour.

Less than a week after the singer concluded the For My Last Trick tour, Halsey announced Thursday she will return to the stage in October; however, instead of playing arenas this time around, Halsey will instead play theaters, ballrooms, and Fillmores across North America.

“A Badlands club tour. Tiny venues. GA floors. 10 years later. I’ve been waiting a decade to re-live it all over again with you,” the singer wrote on social media Thursday.

The Back to Badlands tour kicks off October 14 with “a very special show” at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever before the trek moves eastward. Stops include Atlanta’s Roxy, Washington DC’s the Anthem and New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom before the North American leg concludes January 17 at Detroit’s Fillmore. After that, the Badlands 10th anniversary tour moves to Europe and Australia.

The tour announcement comes one day before Halsey drops her Badlands: Anthology reissue of her 2015 debut LP, featuring previously unreleased demos, a 2015 concert recording and other rarities. Halsey has also planned a “double feature” for the album tracks “Drive” and “Gasoline.”

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years,” Halsey previously said in a statement. “So much has happened in the last decade, but Badlands remains the most exciting musical journey of my life. I have so many unbelievable things planned for this month to celebrate the album that changed my life and introduced me to the fans I’ll love forever. This is just the beginning.”
