Carly Pearce Is Done With Critics Who Think She Dates Too Much

Carly Pearce is done worrying about what online critics have to say about her dating life.

During a recent appearance on Bunnie Xo‘s Dumb Blonde podcast, Pearce explained why she decided to hard-launch her new relationship with boyfriend Jordan Karcher — despite the fact that the internet hasn’t always been kind to her about her relationships and breakups.

Specifically, she said that she’s had to come to terms with the fact that some people will always have negative things to say.

“Everybody thinks I’m dating too many people and there’s something wrong with me because my relationship didn’t work,” Pearce says.

“Absolutely not,” she continues. “I hard-launched it because I just don’t care anymore.”

“Like, I’m sorry I’ve had a few relationships since my marriage. Isn’t that the point? It’s not like I’ve married six people,” she added.

Carly Pearce Is on Her Own Relationship Timeline

Pearce, who is 35, said she’s had to deal with anxieties about whether she’s running out of time to find lasting love.

“You know, again — the stigmas people put on women,” she said.

“Like, ‘I’m 35, I’m never gonna meet somebody,'” the singer continues.

Bunnie, who has been open about her own unconventional path to finding love with Jelly Roll, could relate to that. At 45 years old, she’s currently going through IVF treatments as the couple works toward having a baby.

“Freeze your eggs now, girl,” Bunnie commented, and Pearce nodded vigorously, saying, “No, I know.”

How Did Carly Pearce Meet Her New Boyfriend?

Speaking to Bunnie Xo, Pearce said she met Karcher on Raya, an exclusive, members-only dating app that caters to celebrities and prominent people.

She also admits she had some skepticism about finding love on the app.

“I just didn’t think you could meet a real person on Raya. Like, how am I gonna meet somebody that’s aligned with me?” she relates.

But Karcher was an anomaly. The couple started dating within the past six months, Pearce says, but they’re getting serious.

“He’s not in any kind of entertainment, which is just the best. And again, I’m in this season of my life where I don’t care what you think about me,” Pearce continues.

“…If someone wants to judge me, go for it. Do it. I don’t care anymore,” she adds.

According to Karcher’s social media presence — which is slim — he’s an entrepreneur with a passion for dogs. He’s listed as the founder and CEO of a shopping app called Shop With Eileen, as well as the founder of Ground & Hounds Coffee Co.
