Latto, Ice Spice Release Music Video for Collaborative Single ‘Gyatt’

The rappers released a joint single after several years of a rumored feud between the two

Ice Spice and Latto dropped a new joint single, “Gyatt,” alongside a dynamic music video for the track. The video, directed by Hidji World, features cameos from Deshae Frost, Tylil James, and Love Island’s JaNa Craig.

“Gyatt” marks the first collaboration between the two rappers, effectively squashing rumors of the pair’s feud. “Lord, have mercy, shape real curvy/ My man buy me sticks and stones, words can’t hurt me,” Latto raps on the track.

The pair have been seemingly sniping at each other for several years. In 2024, Latto took a dig at Ice Spice in a cover story for Billboard, saying she wouldn’t be worth engaging in a rap battle.

“If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go tit for tat with,” Latto said. “I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that?”

She later shut down rumors of a feud in an interview with Rolling Stone that same year, “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.”

The track follows Latto’s recent single “Chicken Grease,” which she shared in August. It followed her summer-ready track “Somebody,” which arrived in May alongside a music video directed by her sister Brooklyn Nikole. Ice Spice, meanwhile, released her debut studio album Y2K! last year. The LP included single “Hannah Montana” featuring NLE Choppa and DaBaby.
