Taylor Swift Gets SiriusXM Channel Ahead of ‘Life of a Showgirl’

The Life of a Showgirl release day preparations have begun — and Swifties will now have a place to listen to Taylor Swift‘s music 24 hours a day before it comes out. On Thursday, SiriusXM announced the Sept. 20 launch of “Taylor’s Channel 13,” a station that will play Swift’s music nonstop for the 13 days leading up to her LP drop.

At midnight ET on Oct. 3, SiriusXM will then play The Life of a Showgirl in its entirety to celebrate the album.

“Taylor Swift continues to not only dominate the music world, but also every aspect of pop culture. Her chart-topping, award-winning songs resonate with every generation of listeners, and we are thrilled to deliver our subscribers a place to celebrate their fandom and the new album with the launch of Taylor’s Channel 13,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer.

The channel will feature music from her two-decade career, including highlights from her four Album of the Year Grammy-winning albums, Eras Tour favorites, “From the Vault” tracks, and live versions of her songs.

Taylor’s Channel 13 will be available in cars across North America on channel 13, and also on the SiriusXM app from Sept. 20 through Oct. 19, a week after the album comes out.

Greenstein highlighted how SiriusXM was an early supporter of Swift in 2007, and has helped champion her career through the years. “The channel is a unique destination for fans to connect in a way like never before, hear her music across all eras of her legendary career and celebrate The Life of a Showgirl in a uniquely SiriusXM way,” he said.

Swift announced The Life of a Showgirl, her LP co-produced with Max Martin and Shellback, in mid-August, and has since shared several vinyl variants with different album covers for the record. The album is set to feature 12 songs, including the title track featuring Sabrina Carpenter. The Life of a Showgirl follows 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department
