Brooks Laich and fiancée Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir are officially parents!
On Wednesday (Oct. 15), the couple announced the arrival of their first child — a baby girl named Emberly Heba Laich.
They shared a carousel of heart-melting photos from the delivery room, writing: “Our hearts are overflowing with love as we welcome our daughter into this world.”
“Becoming her parents has been the greatest gift we ever could have imagined — our precious, peaceful, powerful little girl who was born under the full supermoon! Our world is forever brighter with you in it, our Emberly,” the birth announcement continued.
Following Emberly’s birth, Hayley Erbert — wife of Dancing With the Stars judge Derek Hough (Julianne’s brother) — also joined in with love for the new parents: “She is perfection and you are incredible, momma!! I cannot wait to meet her!”
The couple first revealed they were expecting back in May, sharing a series of maternity photos and sonogram snaps.
“Our greatest blessing. Baby Laich coming this fall. Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you, our little one!!!!!!” they captioned the announcement.
A Blended Family With a Lot of Love
Among those celebrating the baby news? Laich’s ex-wife, Julianne.
The Dancing With the Stars co-host left a kind message on the couple’s pregnancy announcement earlier this year, writing: “Congratulations you two on expanding your family — this baby is already so loved.”

Hough and Laich were married from 2017 to 2020, after dating for several years. Despite their high-profile split, the two have remained supportive of one another in the years since.
Laich and Davíðsdóttir — a CrossFit champion — went public with their relationship in 2021, and have shared glimpses of their life together ever since.
With baby Emberly’s arrival, the couple is stepping into a brand new chapter — one that’s already overflowing with love.
