Drake White is apologizing to fans after an early morning bus accident forced him to cancel a planned show in New York.
The country singer shared a statement via social media on Thursday (Oct. 23) informing fans that he and his band had been involved in an accident in the early morning hours.
What Caused Drake White’s Bus Accident?
Drake White’s bus driver suffered a stroke behind the wheel, which led to the accident.
“Our bus was involved in an accident this morning at 2:30AM and we will not be able to play the show in Albany New York tonight,” White wrote on Instagram.
“Everyone is safe and our driver is getting medical attention as we speak … Thank you for your thoughts and prayers,” he added.
White added that he and his band will be on hand for this weekend’s scheduled shows in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

According to White’s official tour calendar, he’s set to perform at Six String Grill & Stage in Foxborough on Friday (Oct. 24), followed by a concert at Wally’s in Hampton, N.H., on Saturday (Oct. 25).
Who Is Drake White?
Drake White is a country singer-songwriter from Alabama. He has released several projects via Dot Records and BMLG, scoring his biggest chart hit, “Livin’ the Dream,” in 2015. The song reached No. 12 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart.
Most recently he has self-released music digitally via his own label, Reverend White.

Drake White has been back out touring actively since late 2020 after facing a medical crisis in 2019.
In August 2029, the singer revealed he had been diagnosed with a debilitating brain condition called arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is caused by an abnormality of the blood vessels that reduces blood flow to the brain.
White and his wife, Alex, also faced tragedy in September 2025 when they revealed they had lost their newborn daughter, Della Elizabeth White, shortly after her birth at 29 weeks on Aug. 31.
