The first two nights of the band’s four-date run in Copenhagen have been rescheduled to Dec. 15 and 16 while the frontman recovers
Radiohead has rescheduled two nights of their four-date run at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. In a social media statement, the band revealed that Thom Yorke is currently undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with “an extreme throat infection which has made it impossible for him to sing.”
The shows originally scheduled for Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 will now take place on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16. “We are devastated to have to postpone these two shows at such short notice,” Radiohead shared in a statement. “We’re hopeful Thom will recover in time to play the final two Copenhagen shows on Dec 4th and 5th.”
Radiohead’s appearances in Copenhagen will now bookend their four performances at the Uber Arena in Berlin from Dec. 8 through Dec. 12. “We have been so blown away by the audience reactions on these dates and are loving being back on stage again,” the statement continues. “Needless to say, we feel terrible that we have been forced to postpone these shows.”
Refunds are available at the point of purchase for ticket holders who are unable to attend the rescheduled dates. Otherwise, tickets will be updated for their respective rescheduled dates.
Radiohead fans have waited seven years for the band to return to the stage. Their current tour kicked off in November with appearances in Madrid, Bologna, and London. Their four sold-out shows at the O2 Arena broke an attendance record previously held by Metallica, with at least 22,200 fans in attendance on each night. At the moment, Radiohead have not announced any performances for 2026.
“Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it,” drummer Philip Selway said in a statement in September. “After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”
