The track appeared on Vultures 2, the second studio album by West and Ty Dolla $ign
Kanye West rolled out a new video for “Bomb” on Wednesday, featuring his daughters North and Chicago.
The clip puts North and Chicago in the driver’s seat as they zip around a post-apocalyptic landscape while chased by furry beasts in Mario-esque go-carts. The track also features rapper Yuno Miles and was included in his second studio album, Vultures 2, by his ¥$ portmanteau group with Ty Dolla $ign.
The album released in August, following Vultures I, which was the first of a planned trilogy. Although Vultures 2 reached Number Two the Billboard 200, it was widely panned by critics. A Rolling Stone review of the LP said the second installation “feels like second helpings of a memorably distasteful meal” and noted that while “Vultures 2 should be Ty’s moment to assert himself in the Y$ venture,” the Beach House artist “remains a junior partner.”
In September, Kanye performed with his four children — North, Psalm, Chicago, Saint — at a Vultures 2 listening event in China. His wife, Bianca Censori, filmed them holding hands and walking up to Kanye as the opening bars of “Everybody” played. In the trilogy’s album, North appeared on “Talking.”
Kanye’s latest album arrived amid a wave of ongoing legal issues. Earlier this month, he was sued by a former Yeezy staffer who claims Kanye subjected him to antisemitic tirades. The rapper has been the subject of complaints filed after his antisemitic rants posted on his social media accounts in October 2022 sparked backlash and led to the end of his partnerships with Gap and Adidas.
