Clairo Is Sexy to a Yeti in ‘Silly’ Video for ‘Sexy to Someone’: WATCH

Singer celebrated her Grammy nomination with a surprise video for the Charm favorite

When Clairo said she wanted to be “sexy to someone,” she really meant anyone. On Tuesday, she surprise-released the video for “Sexy to Someone” from her album Charm, and it follows her mesmerizing a yeti.

The video splices clips of herself at a fire pit while being watched by the creature in the woods, where it hides behind trees and eventually joins her by the fire. Her co-producer, Leon Michaels, dons the Yeti costume for the feature and follows Clairo around in the wilderness before he starts dancing to her singing.

“Silly video we made in May. Thanks to Leon Michels for bringing out his world-famous Yeti costume!” she captioned the video.

“Sexy to Someone” was Track Two of her July album, Charm, which earned her a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. “Thanks to everyone who supported our record this year,” Clairo wrote in the YouTube caption for the “Sexy to Someone” video. “Cannot believe we are Grammy nominated ! much love and appreciation for all of you.”

The musician spoke to Rolling Stone about the inspiration behind the project, which included tracks “Juna,” “Add Up My Love,” and “Glory of the Snow.”

Sling and Immunity were both extremely informative for me, and I couldn’t have made this record without the context of either of them at all,” she said over the summer. “I was like, ‘How can these two records come from the same person?’ Charm was this project of, ‘Let’s see how we can meld both together to really show the one person.’”
