Jason Aldean’s Favorite Hobby With His Son Might Surprise Fans

Jason Aldean just kicked off his Songs About Us Tour this week, and we now know what he might be doing in his downtime between shows… going to collector card stores and buying baseball and Pokémon cards.

Inside Jason Aldean’s Card Collection: Baseball, Pokémon, and a Topps Card of Himself

Aldean was a guest on Country Countdown USA, where he revealed his latest hobby: “Last year my son got into Pokémon cards. I got into it from him. It’s something cool to do with Memphis.”

Aldean has seemingly found the perfect way to spend time with his son, Memphis — buying and ripping open packs of collector cards.

What Sports Cards Does Jason Aldean Have?

Aldean, who says he used to collect baseball cards as a kid, has fired that passion back up, noting, “Now I’ve got more cards than I know what to do with.”

His collection isn’t limited to baseball, either — he’s also landed some notable basketball cards, including an autographed Cooper Flagg card worth $10K. “I bought a box and found that card in the box,” he said. “We just spend money and they sit in a box.”

It’s a good thing Aldean has the money to spend on whatever cards he wants to add to his collection.

Aldean’s Topps card isn’t a traditional MLB player card — it’s a special celebrity insert created by Topps as part of its Rip Night promotion celebrating baseball card collecting and hobby shops.

The card has become popular with both country music fans and sports card collectors, especially because it blends two hobbies Aldean genuinely enjoys… baseball and music.
