Uncle Waffles’ set from London’s The Cause also to feature during streaming service’s Dec. 31 festivities
Apple Music will let users ring in 2025 with Björk, Skepta, and Uncle Waffles as part of the streaming service’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
All three artists will appear during the second annual Apple Music Live: NYE event, with Björk delivering a rare DJ set, along with Apple Music’s Tim Sweeney and London-based DJ Naina. Skepta and Uncle Waffles will each share performances during the broadcast, which were recorded at London’s The Cause.
The party kicks off 4 p.m EST/1 p.m. PST on Dec. 31. Additionally, Apple Music Club will transmit a 24-hour DJ mix featuring contributions from Justice, John Summit, Rüfüs Du Sol, and many more DJs from around the globe.
Apple Music’s New Year’s Eve celebration serves as an audio-only complement to the swath of music-related television programming: Tinashe, Teddy Swims, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Reneé Rapp, Blake Shelton, Luis Fonsi, and TLC are just some of the artists who will take part in the annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC, while Post Malone, Shaboozey, Lainey Wilson, and Luke Bryan will lead CBS’ New Year’s Eve: Nashville’s Big Bash.
