Hayden Panettiere, the actress known for her roles in Heroes and Nashville, has died at 36, according to ABC News.
Her representative confirmed the news in a statement to the outlet.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” the representative said.
Details surrounding Panettiere’s death have not been revealed.
Panettiere was best known to country music audiences for playing Juliette Barnes on Nashville, the troubled country star whose career and personal life became central to the series. She appeared throughout the show’s six-season run.
Her other credits included the NBC series Heroes and films including I Love You, Beth Cooper, Scream 4 and Scream VI. She also starred in the TV movie Amanda Knox.
