Pharrell and Tyler, The Creator lead the release schedule this week on a new song for the N.E.R.D. founder’s soundtrack album to his animated LEGO biopic, Piece By Piece.
Lil Durk continues to build hype for his new album Deep Thoughts by switching up his sound, while Ab-Soul returns with his trademark lyrical verbosity.
Texas also shows up in a big way on The Mexican OT‘s new single and Cordae analyzes life at the top on “Mad as F*ck.”
Griselda are well-represented by Benny The Butcher and Rome Streetz both dropping tracks, while the U.K. continues to be carried by Skepta‘s broad shoulders on his new song “Why Lie?”
The legendary Xzibit also kickstarts the rollout for his first album in over a decade, which will be released on Conor McGregor’s record label.

“Mad as F*ck” shows the dual sides of Cordae’s personality as he raps about the material benefits of wealth and fame while also lamenting the chaos of 21st century fandoms and big bills needing to be paid. His new album The Crossroads drops November 15.
