DDG has responded to a popular TikToker’s accusation that he “trapped” his ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey by having a child with her.
On Tuesday (October 8), TikTok personality Frankie shared a video sharing her thoughts on the pair’s recent split, opening with, “DDG definitely trapped Halle with that baby.”
A social media personality himself, DDG responded with a stitch of the original video, and quickly turned the topic to the fact that Frankie doesn’t have any pictures of her children’s father on her page.
“You got two kids. I looked on your Instagram, I looked on your TikTok, everything,” he began. “You got two kids but no baby daddy. But you worried about me? Don’t make sense to me. Y’all need to stop, bro. I be seeing what y’all be saying.”
He continued: “Y’all be thinking I don’t be seeing it but I be seeing. And it’s like bro, I’m a father. I’m in my child’s life. Worry about your baby daddy. Why are you worried about me? i don’t understand it. I’ll never get it but I love y’all to death. I love Black women.”
Frankie quickly clapped back with a stitch of her own, noting that the “baby daddy” is actually her ex-husband and that much like Halle’s current Instagram, there is no reason to share photos of your ex on your page.

Earlier this month, DDG and Halle Bailey shockingly announced the end of their relationship, less than a year after welcoming their first child together.
DDG shared the news on Thursday (October 3), writing on his Instagram Stories: “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.”
He continued: “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we shared.”
The Michigan rapper maintained that he and Halle would stay close: “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.”
He concluded by saying: “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.
“As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement.”
The couple sparked breakup rumors earlier this year after eagle-eyed fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram and attended Coachella separately.
The couple share one child together, a son named Halo, who was born in December 2023.
