Drake’s Celebration Of Son’s Birthday Captured In Candid Video

Drake shared a heartwarming moment with his son Adonis on his 7th birthday, shooting hoops together before what was likely a bigger celebration later on.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (October 11), Drizzy posted a clip of the pair in the gym for Adonis’ big day – noting it would likely be the last time he is able to score on him.

“Big Adi day!” he wrote. “Happy birthday kid 7 years old prob some of my last videos getting any buckets.”

Check out the clip below.

Ever the basketball fan, Adonis was gifted with a signed jersey from Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball while attending a game earlier this year.

Before the North Carolina team’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors in March, the team’s Instagram account posted a video of Ball presenting a jersey to the then-six-year-old.

“What’s up Adonis. You good?” Melo said to the kid as he exchanged handshakes with those present. “I got a little present for you, man. Little little something something. Little jersey gang.”

“I didn’t know your partner was with you,” he added upon noticing that he didn’t have anything for Graham’s friend.

The clip ended with Ball asking if the young up-and-comer wanted to snap a selfie together. Check out the wholesome moment below:

The bond between Ball and Graham dates back to 2023, when Adonis sketched a picture of the famed hooper that was later shared on his father’s Instagram. The All-Star hooper subsequently sent Adonis a pair of his signature Puma shoes.

Meanwhile, Drizzy has been setting the bar quite high when it comes to his son’s dreams of pursuing basketball.

In January, Drake took to Instagram with a series of photos of Adonis playing basketball and predicted that he’ll be watching his son get drafted by the NBA when he’s older. The 6 God sees potential in his son despite his young age, predicting that he will be a draft pick in the big league when he is of age.
