‘I Will Miss it Terribly’

Adele performed her 100th show of her two-year residency on Nov. 23

Following Adele‘s 100th and final performance of her Las Vegas residency, the “Hello” singer expressed her gratitude to her supporters during her two-year run in a social media post shared Tuesday.

“Las Vegas you’ve been so good to me,” Adele shared in a post, along with a video chronicling her Weekends With Adele shows at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. “This residency went on to mirror what 30 was about — lost and broken to healed and thriving! Seems so fitting in the end. The only thing left to do in this case is move on.”

In a tearful speech during her final show Nov. 23, Adele reflected on the residency’s “rocky” start, and thanked her 14-year-old son, Angelo, and her partner Rich Paul for their support. Adele had planned to begin her Las Vegas residency in January 2022, but due to “delivery delays and Covid,” she postponed the show a day before its expected run. The residency finally launched in November 2022.

“These 100 shows have been so easy to love,” Adele wrote, reflecting on the experience. “They were all completely different because I got to really be with every single person in the room every night. I’ve loved every single second of it and I am so proud of it! I will miss it terribly, and I will miss YOU all terribly too.”

Adele launched Weekends With Adele in support of her 2021 album 30. Her latest album chronicles her divorce, her independence, and her challenges with motherhood. The “Rolling in the Deep” singer previously expressed that she’d take a break from performing ahead of her 10-show run in Munich, telling the German broadcaster ZDF that she’d like to take “a big break” and pursue creative endeavors off stage.
