The wait is over. Rachel Chinouriri has unveiled dates for her first-ever North American headlining tour, scheduled to kick off in May. The start of the tour coincides with the one-year anniversary of the British singer-songwriter’s debut album, What a Devastating Turn of Events.
The stretch of shows will begin on May 10 in Washington D.C., and will conclude on June 13 with an appearance at Bonnaroo in Tennessee. Chinouriri will make stops in New York, Montreal, Chicago, Denver, Portland, Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, and more. The musician has previously headlined concerts in New York and Los Angeles but otherwise hasn’t performed stateside.
General sale begins on Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
The tour announcement arrives alongside an updated version of the What a Devastating Turn of Events single “All I Ever Asked.” Chinouriri teamed up with singer-songwriter Sombr for the collaborative release.
“I have always loved ‘All I Ever Asked’ and the journey that it’s taken me on,” Chinouriri shared in a statement. “Sombr has added such an amazing light and joy to the song and I’m so unbelievably excited for everyone to hear it. His tone, writing and style has always been so cool and I’m so happy he wanted to be a part of it.”
Sombr added: “I was in a cafe on the Lower East Side when I first heard ‘All I Ever Asked’. It was like a ray of sunshine, and I loved it so much. Rachel is such an amazingly talented writer and performer, and I was so excited by the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful record. Big props to Rachel on her Brit noms, by the way! Let’s go!”
Chinouriri is nominated for British Artist of the Year and Best New Artist at the 2025 BRIT Awards. Following news of her nominations, Adele sent the singer a bouquet of roses and expressed her hope to catch her on tour soon. She won’t have to wait too long now. Prior to kicking off her headlining run, Chinouriri will join Sabrina Carpenter on the Europe leg of her Short n’ Sweet tour.
